Kells/Blackwater F. C. qualified for the HSE under 16 Final with this win over Raistin Rovers. Kells/Blackwater F. C.were 1-0 up after ten minutes when they were awarded a penalty after Keith Scanlon was fouled in the Raistin Rovers penalty area. Craig Mooney scored the resulting penalty. Thirty minutes into the first half, Ryan Farnham chipped the ball over the Raistin Rover goalkeeper from 12 yards to give Kells/Blackwater F. C. a 2-0 lead. Fifteen minutes in to the first half, Craig Mooney played the ball Keith Scanlon who slotted home from 7 yards to give Kells/Blackwater F. C. a 1-0 lead. With half an hour gone in the first half, Parkvilla scored to leave the scoreline 1-1 going into the half time interval.
