Under 13 League Champions Parkvilla, preserved their 100 % unbeaten record after this hard fought victory over Kells/Blackwater F. C. Kells/Blackwater F. C. dominated the first half and played some fantastic football throughout the match. Ten minutes into the first half, a cross from Loui Shine to Paddy Byrne and he shot from 20 yards went narrowly wide. Five minutes later a free kick from Fionn Reilly from 20 yards was saved by the Parkvilla goalkeeper. With twenty minutes gone in the first half Kells/Blackwater went one up when a cross from Loui Shine to Patrick Farrelly ended with the ball in the back of the Parkvilla net. Just before half-time, a corner from Paddy Byrne went to Tommy Mongey and his header from 6 yards was cleared off the Parkvilla goal line by a Parkvilla defender. In the second half, Parkvilla came more and more into the game. Five minutes into the half, a defensive error by the Kells/Blackwater F. C. let Parkvilla in for their equalizer. Midway through the half, Parkvilla were awarded a dubious penalty. The Kells/Blackwater F. C. goalkeeper, Darren McGarry pushed the penalty onto his crossbar and Parkvilla scored the rebound to go 2-1 up.

Ten minutes into the second half, a cross from Anthony Doherty to Carl Murphy who’s shot from 8 yards went just wide. This top of the table clash between leaders, Parkvilla and second place Kells/Blackwater F. C. produced some great soccer throughout. Ten minutes into the first half, a corner by Paddy Byrne went into the Parkvilla area and from the resulting scramble, a shot from Anthony Doherty from 10 yards was saved by the Parkvilla goalkeeper. Fifteen minutes into the first half, Parkvilla went 1-0 up. Five minutes later Parkvilla went 2-0 up. Then with two minutes from the half-time whistle , Parkvilla went 3-0 up. Kells/Blackwater F. C lifted their game in the second half and had the Parkvilla defense under a lot of pressure. Ten minutes in a cross from Fionn Reilly went to Brandon Browne and he scored from 2 yards to leave the scoreline 3-1 to Parkvilla. Then with ten minutes from time, Fionn Reilly beat 2 Parkvilla defenders and fired the ball to the Parkvilla net from 15 yards.
