Kells/Blackwater F. C. got the ideal start on five minutes after great interplay between Danny Williams and Shane Freeman on the right side of midfield, resulted with Shane Freeman scoring from 8 yards to give Kells/Blackwater F. It was 2nd playing 3rd in the Division 2 League table, with 3rd place team Bailieboro Celtic coming out on top.
